(Chicago) – State Rep. Sara Feigenholtz (D-Chicago) is launching a “School Supply Drive” to collect classroom items for students at local schools.
“Our community drive will assist students in our neighborhood so that they are equipped with the tools they need to excel,” said Feigenholtz.
Local elementary schools are asking residents to help with donated items such as: pens, pencils, sharpies, notebooks, binders, construction paper, glue sticks, erasers.
Those wishing to donate school supplies can drop them off at Feigenholtz’s constituent services office at 3223 N. Sheffield Ave., Suite A during normal business hours, or call 773-296-4141 to schedule a special pick-up or drop-off.
This year’s School Supply Drive is scheduled to end on September 10th.
